13 June 2022 - Deferral Approved
The ATO has now approved our short STP2.0 deferral. This deferral will cover us and our customers until 31 August 2022.
This will allow our customers to finalise their FY22 obligations.

We have requested a short extension from the ATO to give all of our customers time to finalise FY22.
We will be providing updated documentation on how to submit a finalisation this weekend.

We are sad to announce that sodaPAY will not be STP2 compliant.
What happens now?
We’ve completed an assessment of the technical changes needed to meet the STP2
Unfortunately, we are unable to implement the required changes in a way that keeps our
sodaPAY app simple and easy to use.
We have disabled new sign ups.
What do you need to do?
We will also be putting together material to assist businesses to finalise FY22.
You can continue to use sodaPAY until the end of the financial year 30 June 2022 (FY22).
We recommend submitting your FY22 finalisation prior to 30 June 2022 if possible.
We will be requesting a short extension from the ATO to allow our customers to finalise
their FY22 submissions.
