Fixing Mistakes

Most mistakes with Single Touch Payroll submissions can easily be fixed. Below are some of the problems you might encounter.

The ABN I entered is wrong

Your Organisation ABN cannot be changed once registration is complete.

To correct your Organisation ABN please remove and re-install the sodaPAY App.

If you use the same user account to log in again your Software Subscription ID will remain the same.

I selected the wrong payroll frequency

This information is used to create your pay periods. It will create your first pay period with the Payroll End Date you choose and will calculate the start date based on the Payroll Frequency you choose.

All fields are required.

This information cannot be changed once registration is complete.

To correct your Payroll Frequency please remove and re-install the sodaPAY App.

If you use the same user account to log in again your Software Subscription ID will remain the same.

My payroll shows a processing error

We've done our best make sure you can't enter data that will cause an error. However, sometimes errors will occur.

Tap the errorError Icon to see the detailed description of the error.

Fix the issues described in the error then tap the undoUndo Icon to allow to re-submit the payroll.

The most common error (shown right) is not having registered your Software Subscription ID correctly with the ATO. Please check your ABN and Software Subscription ID with the ATO before trying to re-submit the payroll
